Splitting The Cost

When I graduated from high school, many of my friends got together to figure out some grand way to celebrate. Since most of their parents had enough money, they decided to go on a trip to Sharm Egypt together. Of course, I would have loved to have had time to work and save up for it, but I did not know they would choose something so expensive. My parents surprised me by doing some research about the different costs, and they offered to split the costs with me. I was put in charge of my own spending money and food, and they paid for my flight and the hotel.
