Windows-Like Convenience on Palm Pre

Isn’t it annoying how long it usually takes to move back and forth between different applications on your mobile phone? Say you’re at a restaurant and you want to figure out the tip, that’s easy enough. Simply open up the tip calculator and enter the figures. However, if you want to tabulate something different on your bill, you may need to switch back and forth between the tip calculator and regular calculator. With the Palm Pre, situations like this are no longer a problem. This mobile phone presents applications as something called “activity cards”, which means you can flip back and forth between them quite easily. The idea reminds me somewhat of Windows on a PC.
