There Is Depth To The Learning Provided By Science Fair Projects

I have often wondered where the kids come up with their ideas for their projects.  It is obvious that they have put a lot of time and work into developing their winning science fair projects.  I do not know if I see all of them or if they only select the best for the display in the gym but the ones that I do see certainly appear professional.  Each student must come away from their project as a subject matter expert in their area.   We were never able to get that far into any particular subject when I was going to school.
