You may have noticed that advice in magazines or online is often presented as a number of things you can do to improve something, such as, “Ten ways to hack into the Government’s Computer” (hopefully a joke).

I often just skim these lists because many contain filler (Number 2: “If you can’t save anything to your computer, you may need a bigger hard drive”).

However, some lists are so good they’re almost my bible. One I’ve enjoyed and kept is called, “Top 7 Things to Do With Nixie Tubes“.

Although the author of the list has fun with it, (No. 7 is ‘Repair the Display in Your Very Own Vintage Russian Submarine’), the list is a great source for creative things to do with Nixie Tubes.

I’ve referred to that site often and bought several kits, mostly because of that one, useful list.
