Every Pool Deserves An In Ground Pump

Now that I’m older, I love retelling the stories of my first, full-time summer job. I was only fifteen when a friend of mine and I went to work for his uncle installing in ground swimming pools and in ground pool pumps. Even though the work was very demanding physically, I loved it. So much so that I made it a ritual to work every summer all through high school and my first two years of college. So yes, when I hear tales of how hard our two boys have it with their summertime jobs of mowing lawns or throwing papers, I pull out my memories of digging, pouring, more digging, etc. and it quiets them down a bit.
