Addiction Help

If you want to help an addict then here are some tricks you can try. 

First of all try to convince them to get to rehab.  This is probably your best bet because it has the greatest potential to make them change.  It’s not a magic bullet but it usually helps.

The other thing to try for addiction help is to stage an intervention with the friends and family of the struggling addict.  These can backfire at times so plan it carefully and think things through.  You don’t want to create more resentment by totally ambushing someone.  Do so in a loving manner and good things might happen for the person.
